Einstein I've always had a love affair with that particular quote. Try and get the cooperation from people around you who are actually benefiting from your efforts of time management. Don't procrastinate. Attend to necessary things immediately. Have a positive attitude and set yourself up for success. But be realistic in your approach in achieving your goals. Have a record or journal of all your activities. If I wanted to fit in, I needed to be like everyone else. Being extraordinary was considered weird. In the movie, the superheroes are finally allowed to use their powers because they are needed to save the planet. This, too, is a metaphor. We are each extraordinary in our own ways, and this planet needs each of us to fully express our gifts and talents. MOTIVATION, THE HEART OF SELF IMPROVEMENT Pain may sometimes be the reason why people change. Getting flunked grades make us realize that we need to study. Debts remind us of our inability to look for a source of income. Being humiliated gives us the push to speak up and fight for ourselves to save our face from the next embarrassments. Whenever you practice a given skill, you increase your own confidence in your capability to perform even in front of other people. Before a big presentation, study up. Try to know everything about the topic before you step in front of the audience. If you have practiced way before the presentation, you will be in a better position to knock their socks off. </i> I take charge of it, before it takes charge of me. I begin to travel a path of power and presence, instead of a path of reactivity and regret. As I place that bit of padding between my reaction and my response, I reclaim my power. I reconnect with what is really important. Why am I here? What do I want to contribute to this workplace, this family unit, this relationship?
